>> My name is Gary Holmes. I'm the building manager with the United States General Service Administration. I manage federal lease and own property that's owned and maintained by the government throughout the city of Charlotte and surrounding areas in the Charlotte region. In Charlotte I handle about half a million square feet of government space. That's a mixture of class A commercial space, warehouse space, and then federal court houses that's throughout the city. I go by, I make a site visit. I usually take a walk around the space to notice anything that's kind of out of line of what a government contract with a commercial real estate firm would entail. There's certain things that have to be done in a certain timeframe in regards of having carpet cleaned, having carpet replaced, having walls painted. So you take a look at the cleaning aspect of the space. Is the space being cleaned properly as to the contract with the government? And then you kind of just do an assessment of the needs that the agency may need. The future needs. If they need to build out more space. If they need to acquire more space. Checking in with our tenants in my building, I have 10 federal judges that are presidentially appointed. So that's a brief visit with those, speaking with them, seeing what kind of schedule that they have throughout the day in regards of court schedules. I also have to meet with the US marshals on a daily basis and that entails how many prisoners they're bringing in, what needs they may need throughout the day. And then also, it's kind of conferring with the regular constituents in the community and showing that they're walking into a building that has high standards because we are the preservers of tax payer's monies, we want to make sure that those funds are adequately used and properly used.
